We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to introduce an amendment to the Freedom of Information Act to allow TV Licence fee payers access to Jeremy Paxman’s salary
The amendment should allow payers of the TV Licence Fee - the compulsory tax on all TVs in the UK - to see how much Jeremy Paxman is paid by them.
We also note, that despite constant questioning by the Mayor of London to Jeremy Paxman about revealing his pay, the footage was not broadcast by the BBC.
We also call on the Prime Minister to allow Licence Fee payers the right, be it through the introduction of a new law or otherwise, of access to the rushes of this interview.
