We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to Allow UK pensioners living in EU countries the choice of receiving their pension by direct payment in Sterling to a Sterling account in an EU bank.
Currently all UK pensions paid to ex pats, resident in EU countries are paid in Euros. UK pensioners should be able to choose that their pensions are paid in Sterling by direct transfer into a Sterling account in a EU based bank . This would avoid losing on the exchange rate should you wish to wait until it improves or forcing pensioners to have illegal accounts.
