We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to Ban HGV vehicles over 7.5 tonnes from roads and motorways on weekends.
Most lorries / trucks over 7.5 tonnes to be banned from the UK road and motorway network every weekend between the hours of 10 p.m Saturday and 10 p.m Sunday. This weekend ban to be longer from early July to mid August, when lorries are to be banned from Saturday 7 a.m. to Sunday 10 p.m. HGV’s also banned on public holidays, from 10 p.m the night before, until 10 p.m on the holiday itself.
