We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to Catherine&Vincent Glynn to say to Iran that the 15 marines did make a mistake. Telling irrational people that they are in the "wrong" does’nt work, but admitting that there has a mistake made and apologising may very well work. Is it not worth it for the safe return of our marines ?
We are an ordinary family. My husband is a retired bank worker and I still work part-time, at a local community centre. We’ve two grown-up children, a son and a daughter. And we do feel for those poor marines, who have been away so long from their families. These people won’t respond to any appeals from the UN Security Council, they, we feel would respond to Tony Blair speaking in a ‘more humble’ fashion
