We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to realise that by agreeing to expand a number of airports & planning to increase fuel duty, that these will give completely contradictory results

i.e. bigger airports means more passengers flying and therefore more planes burning fuel whilst increasing (what is already an extremely high rate of) fuel duty is intended to reduce the number of cars on the road to cut emissions.

This petition closed on Monday 31 December 2007 without having attracted any support at all. The creator was left in a minority of one. Here’s your chance to comment on this petition.
