We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to allow fringe theatre to be exempt from the minimum wage.

We believe that the enforcement of national minimum wage will force the collapse of the fringe theatre.

The effect will be detrimental to the opportunities offered to actors and creative’s. It will force them to become amateur which will decrease their attendance further and severely restrict there ability to gain rights to plays as required.
