get Student’s Unions recognised as charities!!
We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to get Student’s Unions recognised as charities!!
UK Student Unions are classified as business, but they should be classified as either charities or as educational establishments since they directly are there to serve the students and a lot of money from them goes into corporation tax and they have to pay more for stuff like software, etc which directly affects their ability to support the students.
This petition closed on Sunday 6 June 2010 without having attracted any support at all. The creator was left in a minority of one. Here’s your chance to comment on this petition.
