We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to hold somerset county council elections due to the massive rejection of unitary status by the people of Somerset.
The people of Somerset rejected the idea of unitary status by a massive amount. Surely, such a large rejection must bring into question the status/validity of the county councillors. The County Councilliors who voted for the proposal should have to sit by-elections in their seats to ensure that they still have the publics trust.
