Make laws regarding use by dates on food products
We, the undersigned, petition the Prime Minister to Make laws regarding use by dates on food products
If retailers have products one or two days from the sell by date, instead of disposing these foods, they could be legaly required to otherwise. this could mean a permanent trade relationship with organisations such as homeless shelters where the retailers must offer these goods at a maximim of the cost to the retailer that specific product cost. this also encourages retailers to be more responsible over waste
